On the last visit, the support guy said, the printer works fine as he can print from the web interface, it must be something on our network that is stopping it and if we want them to look into it, it's not covered by the support contract and would be a fairly hefty charge. I have had colleagues of mine look at it, and I have called out the printer support people and neither can find anything wrong with it. When a document is printed it flashes up in the print queue and disappears as you would expect, but the printer doesn't react and when I look to see what happened in the printer logs there doesn't appear to be anything about the job. The driver is up to date, the port is correct (TCP/IP, RAW, SNMP is enabled, I have also tried with it disabled, no difference), RAW is enabled on the printer with the standard 9100 port, I have tried a different network cable and with a known working network point. It is on a Windows 2012 network with a TCP/IP port, I can ping the machine, log into its web interface and print from the web interface but not from any computer, including the server. My client has a sharp MX-2310U MFP, that will not print from any computer or for any user. I've been on this site for a while and found it to be very useful, but this is my first time posting and would really appreciate some advice.
